Pluses: good web communication; spacious room (first floor), excellent HUGE breakfast, clean linens, charming street in little sort of charming town (typical small Vermont town, but don't blink or you'll miss it)
This was my fifth stay at The Inn on Park Street and it won't be my last. Judy, the innkeeper, is not only a gracious host but an amazing cook who ensures her guests enjoy a delightful breakfast and a true country inn experience. Don't hesitate, book your stay - you won't be disappointed!
Minuses: no locks on door of Inn nor on guest rooms. Made us feel uncomfortable leaving valuables (cameras, computer, etc). No A/C--not so much for temperature but for dehumidification. No ventilation in first floor room--a ceiling fan operates but windows did not open (not bad for security, but bad for ventilation). The tub is a large step-in which is not easy to do and we are in good shape.

Lovely inn, fabulous food! Highly recommend.
My husband and I stayed at this inn as part of a wonderful biking trip in central Vermont. Tastefully decorated with antiques, the house invited lingering. Bountiful, tasty hors d'oeuvres on the front porch was conducive to chatting amongst the guests. These meals are not to be missed. We felt part of a private, elegant dinner party with a delicious four course meal served on beautiful china. Breakfast was a similar pleasure. Our bedroom felt luxurious. We would return to this inn in a heartbeat.
Overall: I have been to better and to worse Inns--this one could easily improve if they just got locks on the doors and installed some form of ventilation. Guests feeling of safety and comfort, though perhaps not a high priority in small town Vermont, should not be overlooked or ignored. Even if there are not hot nights nor theft (what about the other guests?). That being said--the breakfast was the best we had in all of VT.
